MIPS Exhibition in Moscow

Moscow International Protection & Security Exhibition, MIPS is the largest and one of the key meeting grounds for communicating the safety and security industry developments in Russia, Eastern Europe and the CIS. In April every year, major industry players gather in Moscow's largest exhibition venues, Expocentre, to discuss trends in the industry and test out the latest offerings from domestic and international suppliers.

Russia's security industry continues to occupy a notable place on the global market, influencing global trends with its latest technology developments and industry achieveme nts. According to global market reports, the total value of Russian purchases of security equipment and s ervices exceeded $17bn in 2008. It is apparent that Russia's security industry continues to develop despite the turbulent global economy.

MIPS 2009 marked the 15 th edition of the event featuring 315 companies who represented 20 countries, and welcoming 12,800 registered trade visitors - an increase of 7.5% from 2008. As MIPS 2009 drew to a close.
